Weeks of treatment and love worked wonders. Her fur started to grow back, her wounds healed completely, and her once-aching body transformed into a healthy, happy dog. And just like that, she was given a new name to match her new life—Nellie Belle.
The dog that once teetered on the edge of survival now radiated joy. She played, wagged her tail, and soaked up every bit of attention. It was hard to believe she was the same dog found on the streets, nearly scratching herself to death.
