When Foxy and the Hounds learned of two stray dogs wandering into a private yard, they called upon Hope For Paws for assistance. Little did anyone know just how urgent the situation was—within an hour of the rescuers’ arrival, the female dog gave birth!
The team quickly stepped in, carefully gathering the newborn puppies and enclosing Mom and Dad, later named Carrie and Mr. Big, in a small area to ensure their safety. Once the little family was secure, Carrie and Mr. Big were loaded into the rescue vehicle and reunited with their puppies before being transported to safety.
Back at Loreta’s care, Carrie and Mr. Big enjoyed a warm meal while their puppies—Samantha, Miranda, Charlotte, and Aidan—were given a proper and loving welcome into the world. Afterward, the entire family was transferred to Foxy and the Hounds, where the puppies will be fostered until they are ready for adoption into forever homes.
